depressioNet Staff depressioNet has a team of dedicated full-time and part-time staff members passionate about helping others. The depressioNet team have in one way or another been impacted by depression or have worked extensively in the area of mental health. depressioNet Leadership Team A team approach to depressioNet operations is one of the key elements in the provision of an effective and high quality Human Service. A multidisciplinary team approach is one of the means by which depressioNet achieves market leadership in Australia in the Online Human Service Delivery domain which aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of people impacted by depression. There is compelling evidence to suggest that a multidisciplinary leadership team approach to Human Service delivery provides both a holistic and high quality service to clients, it ensures that decisions are based on evidence based practice and it enhances the wellbeing and longevity of staff and volunteers working at depressioNet. The Leadership team provides a cross section of perspectives that support more thoughtful and representative approaches for improving depressioNet operations and performance. depressioNet Volunteers and Student Placements A key component to depressioNet's success is the generous support offered by our tireless volunteer base. Peer support would not be possible without the dedication of our Peer Support Volunteers who rotate 'around the clock' shifts ensuring the culture of depressioNet remains safe and comforting for our clients.It is with genuine appreciation and thanks that we acknowledge our volunteers. Without them, their dedication and life experience, depressioNet could not provide the unique mode of support we have come to expect. We also have an increasing amount of support from our dedicated student placements who primarily aid depressioNet in our endless online and administration requirements. We are grateful to them and their sharp initiative that now helps our organisation run so efficiently. Through the goodcompany, Volunteering Australia and Volunteering Victoria, depressioNet has also been able to source invaluable assistance from highly skilled volunteers who have so warmly committed their benevolence to depressioNet. They are especially appreciated because it is through their expertise and time that we are undertaking new and exciting projects that will undoubtedly move depressioNet into the future. Healthcare Professional Advisory Team depressioNet’s Healthcare Professional Advisory Team (HPAT) comprises of well regarded healthcare professionals from a range of disciplines and committed to helping reduce the impact of depression in the community. The HPAT provide invaluable support to depressioNet by volunteering their skills and expertise in a number of activities such as the development and review of website content to ensure its validity.
